If you want to be considered mature you should have done this in the first place Glen. Instead of entertaining other nicknames, either keep yours or just go by Glen.
Smart move on his part. Maybe he's coming around with the maturity level.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot. If people want to call me Big Baby like Shaq does that’s cool. But really, I’m just Glen Davis -- not uno-uno or anything else. I’d rather let my play on the court be what I am known for, not some nickname. So feel free to call me Glen.

I’d rather let my play on the court be what I am known for, not some nickname.
I think it'd be a better idea to use a nickname to divert people from seeing how he's been playing.

I've been calling him Glen since we got him anyway most of the time but now I'm going to call him Big Baby.

My opinion, if gets in shape, learns how to shoot again with that new thumb, becomes a decent rotation guy, nobody will care what he's called.
He's coming off an injury, can't make a shot outside of 10 feet and is overweight (fatso wasn't far off the mark the other night), I don't think he has the right to make a nick name change until he's earned some respect. I think I learned that lesson in 7th grade.
