the dude is an abomination on the court, only thing he's good at is bitching at the refs. he can't shoot, his defense is atrocious, doesn't rebound, he doesn't even care, no heart. they gotta get rid of this piece of trash before the deadline. can't believe they signed him when mcdysse was available.

I don't get the hate for Sheed. He has played pretty well in most games against the elite teams. People love to complain though. Once Shelden gets mintues, they will complain about how he can't make a lay up, and all that. Ugh..

People's expectations for Sheed are way too high.

In the last 3 games, we have played him on Howard, Horford and Gasol... 3 All-Stars.

He is not at all what he was, but in a reduced role, he is a big asset for us.

naaah, you gotta be kidding me, well maybe not seeing how you also want ricky davis back and think he'd be the perfect 6th man. i don't love to complain, it's just that sheed doesn't get nearly the amount of hate he deserves on here, so i had to make a thread. he is a liability out there, put meatwad on the court we'd get nearly the same results.

I don't have a problem with Rasheed. He is what he is and quite frankly anthing more than 15 minutes a game is to much. Stats probably don't back me up on that but it feels that way. I have a problem seeing him in the last 8 minutes of a ballgame instead of Perk tho. Unless Perk or KG are in foul trouble or hurt we need them to finish games.

Sheldon needs to go. I think he can contribute to the team, because he did in the past, but he won't because Doc won't let him. Why waste a roster spot on this guy if we're not going to use him? I understand the money side of things but Sheldon should be getting some of Glen's minutes.

I hope Sheldon isn't sitting on the bench because we are showcasing Davis for a possible trade to make us better because Davis has not shown the energy or the type of play he showed last year when playing for a contract. Can't believe he hasn't been benched in favor of Sheldon as he can rebound and hit the 15 foot jumper better than Davis. Even Scal has given more energy than Davis when given time on the court, but also, we need to see that we have problems everywhere that we really didn't have in the past few years with many of the players.

davis is another one who needs to go, but i didn't want to hate on both of them in the same post.

FeedReed, I agree with you that Sheed isn't playing well. Sheed isn't as good as many people think he is at his age. Wallace was a very good player 4-5 years ago, but not anymore. He isn't show up last year in the playoffs.

But the problem is Sheldon sucks even more than Sheed. Sheldon has worse hands that Mark Blount.
Glen Davis is the guy that needs more minutes but injures have slowed him good. Davis' conditioning is not there yet and he doesn't do will with limited minutes.

Once Daniels is back and Davis is in better shape, we will be playing better. Good enough to win a championship? I don't know. It's going to be very hard to win a title without home court and with KG and Ray struggling.

i dunno, sheldons hand didn't seem that bad to me. i figured he'd suck, but he really exceeded expectations. me personally i'd play him over sheed at least just to see how it goes. i'd also bring j reed back though so who knows.

I'm getting sick and tired of Doc refusing to adjust or change his line-up.

Give Sheldon some time ...... seriously, we need anything we can get right now.

I don't agree that Sheed should lose his minutes. Can't say the same about Big Baby though.
