If Washington is Looking to Clean House...

Washington sends:
Caron Butler
Mike Miller
DeShawn Stevenson

Boston Sends:
Ray Allen
Tony Allen
2011 1st Rounder

When Ray's shot isn't falling (as it currently isn't), there is not much of a difference between he and Ray, minus the fact that Miller will still spread the floor and it will create more opportunities for other players. Those opportunities would be useful with Caron Butler. Both Tony and Ray come off the books this year, while Caron and DeShawn do not so Washington saves a nice chunk of money. We give them next year's first because the Wiz will probably feel this pick will be even better than if they received Boston's 1st this year and they will also save that much more money for this upcoming FA.

i like this, IF caron can stay healthy, he is certainly a more all around player than allen at this point of his career

id hate to see allen leave but if danny could make this trade and doesnt he would be a fool

I like this three way trade better.

Boston: Jamison, Foye
Chicago: House, Scalabrine and Giddens (expiring contracts)
Washington: Big Baby, Salmons, Tony Allen, Shelden Williams (with trade exemption) and Boston's 2010 1st round pick.

I'd rather smash myself if the face with a frying pan then let that POS Stevenson anywhere near this team. I'm a fan of Butler's game but he hasn't been lighting it up this year either. Not sure this deal really improves us this year or in the future.

Mike Miller is worth looking at. You couldn't move Ray for him but you could put together some scrubtastic bench players and hope Washington holds their nose (Not likely to happen).

I'd appreciate it, that if we traded Ray, we didn't trade him for another former UConn player (Butler) for Donny Marshall to man crush over, but that's just me. Otherwise, I'd be for the initial deal, if we took TA and Stevenson out of it (TA could be included, but I absolutely want Stevenson off this team).

I don't like Stevenson at all either. He wasn't included, in thinking that he'd be helpful to this team. It was more along the lines of Washington accepting this deal.

Ray Allen
2011 1st

for

Caron Butler
Mike Miller

that works as well, but I figure Washington wants to clean out as much cap as possible.

I would like to get Foye here if we could just get him for expirings and a pick or something... not a true point guard but would work well with marquis in the back court

Boston gets

- increases bench depth, increase the toughness

Toronto gets

2010 2nd rounder (Sacramento)

- adds a wing player with Hedo injuried(not sure how long)

Washington gets
Ray Allen
Ime Udoka
1st rounder (Sacramento, lottery procted till 2014)

- gets a big expiring, and a 1st rounder

Sacramento gets
Patrick O'Bryant
Sheldon Williams

I think this deal works out WAY too hell for the Celts for the other 3 teams to play along.
How does Toronto get JR AND a 2nd rounder for POB?

I was going to originally say that the Celtics would get the 2nd rounder from the Kings, but I remember the Celtics really wanted to get rid of Giddens (but there were no takers) so the 2nd round pick to Toronto is like an incentive. Since the Kings are looking to cut salary I just thought they might do it.
