New York In: Ray Allen, Kwane Brown, Tony Allen
Ne w York Out: J. Jeffries, E. Curry & David Lee

Detroit In: Jeffries, E. Curry & David Lee
Detroit Out: Hamilton, T. Prince, J. Maxiell & Kwane Brown

Boston In: N. Robinson, Hamilton & T. Prince
Boston Out: Ray Allen, Tony Allen, J. Maxiell

Detroit: Gets the best player in the deal, Lee. David is a legit frontcourt player, and is still somewhat underrated. Pistons can sign him an extension for 9 or 10 million per year. Also, Curry and Jeffries contracts only go through next season, so we would be cutting the long-term cost of Rip & Maxiell deals, and have movable assets next season in Jeffries and Curry's expiring contracts. Scalabrine is an expiring contract……

Knicks: Knicks clear salary cap space for this off-season. They get rid of both Jeffries and Curry's contracts, allowing them to offer max contracts to two guys.

Boston: They go all-in for the next 2-3 years. Something else might need to be thrown in the deal to get them to pull the trigger. They've apparently started shopping Ray Allen; they might find what they are looking for make a run for the ring. It gives them a pair of vets with championship experience: Rip and Tay. Gives them a lot of match-up flexibility with small ball like Rondo/Rip/Pierce/Tay/KG.Maxiell adds interior defence. Robinson means points off the bench…….

Thoughts?

rather keep ray then add hamilton

just go get nate robinson - use scal - house - a pick and the young players

scal needs to be gotten rid of, hes an expiring deal, package him with a pick and house/tony and young players giddens/walker, u can get back a decent player

This trade doesn't really change things too much from a long term stand point and it costs us one of the top clutch players in the game as we try for a championship.
