Celtics get a young star to team with Perkins in the future. We can all have a jerk session every time Dudley makes a layup because he is a home town boy.

The Suns get something for Stoudemire, two capable bigs with small contracts. Plus they rent Allen for half the year, maybe they make some noise in the playoffs and resign him. We can send them a future first too. (We'll call it "future considerations, because I think we can't trade next years number one pick; I'm probably wrong.)

I know everyone is going to say "who will play shooting guard???" Well let Tony Allen start and bring Giddens or Walker off the bench to take Tony's spot. Daniels will be back soon too remember. Just an idea. I liken this to when the Kings traded Mitch Richmond for Chris Webber...then the Kings were relevant for 5 years.

this trade helps fill the back up 3 position, gives us another interior scorer, and helps are rebounding woes. However, there is no way Phx pulls the trigger because we don't have the combo of young talent plus picks to get it done.

Um we still need a 2 guard. A Rondo/Daniels back court isn't exactly ideal from a spacing stand point. But I've said it once and I'll say it again. Perk and Stoudemire would be nasty together. Amare, like KG, needs a bruising defensive minded center next to him o take the pressure off him defensively.
