Daniels is what makes you guys a better team than cleveland and the lakers, your two stepping stones to the title. I am not putting orlando as a contender, i mean lets be honest, you took them to 7 games last year without kg. Dwight is not a force downlow, and perkins gives him more trouble than anybody in the league. oh, and they have vince carter, who is the worlds biggest loser besides t-mac. daniels will torch jamario moon and anthony parker, and he will torch shannon brown and luke walton. hes the difference off the bench for you guys

We thought KG coming back would be the difference. It's not.

We thought Daniels coming back would certainly be the difference. Once again, it is not.

For one reason or another, the Celtics cannot compete for all 4 Q's.

I think this team needs a shake up and Ray Allen has to be the guy to go. As for Daniels I thought he had a very good game.

It doesn't matter how well Daniels plays. It doesn't matter how well Tony Allen plays. Doc is still going to play Ray Allen about 40 minutes a game. Rivers has stopped coaching this team over the last 2 months. I've been saying this for weeks now.

Yeah, Doc has been saying now for a month that he needs to get Ray's minutes down and then, boom!!! 40 minutes again, and again, and again.

I like Doc, but when no adjustments are being made, he deserves some blame.

Bird believes that today's players start tuning the coach out at about three years.

Looks like he may be right.

Are you saying Doc couldn't order the correct number of Dorritos to have enough on the shelf?

Maybe you're right....he's got a problem with numbers.

Daniels is the difference? Ha!!! That's a good one. Difference in what? I like the guy, but you can't play him with Tony, and so marquis coming back means that Tony is on his way back to not playing. That will soon become very obvious to all.

This team needs to make trades. They need to move Ray. They need to give the ball to Rondo, and let him make the decisions. If part of that entails Rondo taking more shots, then I'm all for it. If Rondo needs to go into "A.I. mode" on occasion, then so be it. He is fully capable of doing it. They need a bench that is functional. Not a bench which people SAY is good. If Marquis fits in, then great.

Some blame? Man, Doc is the root cause of this team's problems. As bad as the aging and injuries have been, Doc's complete inability to deal with reality is the real killer. Ray probably wouldn't be the worthless puddle of goo he is right now if it wasn't for Doc running him into the ground. In addition, Ray is asked to and allowed to do things that he should not be doing. Ray running offense? It shouldn't happen.

As itstands right now we have the first ranked defense (according to defensive rating) and the 13th ranked offense, according to basketball-reference.com. What does Doc say? The defense is a problem and the offense is "great". Which area of the team does Doc run? The offense. Starting to see the picture, dude?
