A painful 6-week stretch. Is it worse than 06-07?

This stretch from Christmas to the All-Star break has been absolutely dreadful. They should put a Surgeon General Warning on these games because I know they are taking years off my life.
With one game left to play before the All-Star break, this team is 9-12 since Christmas. During the 2006-2007 season, the Celtics went 2-23 during roughly the same stretch. Including an 18-game losing streak.
Which stretch was more painful for you to watch? For me, this has been way more brutal. I've even found myself tempted to cancel my league pass because of the agony. I was actually filled with hope and excitement during the 06-07 debacle. I loved watching guys like West, Allen, Jefferson & Gomes blossom.
So what say you?

It is worse because this team is expect to win. That team was not. Simple.

On paper the 06/07 season team was worse. Physiologically this is much much worse because this team is supposed to be a "contender"

Easily right now.
In 06-07 I watched just to see how the players were developing basically. As much as I wanted to see them win, I had accepted the fact that they were one of the worst teams in the league. Coming into this season, I thought they were easily top 3, maybe even #1. Every loss sucks, to be blunt.

This. The only thing that was honestly painful in 06-07 was the lottery.

This. No contest. 06-07 was a lost season anyway. This HURTS.

Make no mistake, all that losing was hard to swallow back then. But there was a lot of excitement in watching those young guys. I would say it was an equal dose of pain and hope. Especially, when it started looking like there were gonna be two super-star caliber players available in the draft.

It's worse now, no question. Back then the losing was fun if only for the game threads, which were hilarious. I remember somebody had Doc photoshopped in a tank, with his arms flung up in the air, and he'd be "firing" at the logo of the team we were facing. We wanted to lose, despite the moronic double-standards applied by the sports media talking heads, which annoyed me greatly. To wit: it was both "Ainge sucks, he's clueless! The team he's constructed is terrible!" and/or "The Celtics are tanking! No team can be this bad!" So basically, it was a lose-lose either way, while the same attention/GM attack mentality wasn't applied to WORSE teams the year before or on Memphis (who finished with a worse record).
Right now it's beyond obvious this team is lazy, listless, unathletic, and undersized. Charles Barkley said it best last night: "Everyone keeps saying 'wait until the Celtics get healthy'. They're not going to get healthier. They're going to get older."
