Combining the rumored Wiz/Dallas and Wiz/C's trades

Post#1 » by BOSsportsfan34 » Sat Feb 13, 2010 9:37 pm

Works on Trade Checker: ID 5456502

To Dallas: Butler, Haywood, Stevenson

To Washington: Ray, Scal, Giddens, Gooden, Ross

To Boston: Jamison, Howard

Not sure I'd do this deal, for the only reason is that I'd rather have Butler over Howard. What do you folks think?

I mentioned it there too on like page 19. Same opinion here as I had there. Ownership would rather get an expiring to go with whatever other talent we get (they'd probably rather the longer contract be the wing that they're getting in place of Ray), but I have zero interest in Howard. He's done. If you can't put up better than 40% shooting playing with Kidd and with Dirk taking pressure off of you, then you don't have a place in the league.

Agreed. My only interest in Howard would be as a buy-low option in the offseason.

You have to give Howard the same benefit you give KG right? He has been hurt pretty much the whole year.

I don't advocate giving up Ray unless it helps us now and in the future. Not sure Jamison and Howard does that. Although I think Howard would thrive on the Celtics.
