Frank Thomas vs. Jeff Bagwell
Both have had good careers, solid 1st basemen. Both I think born on the same date or something. Both won MVP the same yr. Both played for 1 organization for a long time.

Frank Thomas was the better hitter, but Bagwell excelled in the field and on the basepaths so I'll give him the edge. Both slam dunk hall of famers who rank among the top-5 or 6 1B of all time. Thomas was a poor fielder and Bagwell was Will Clark in the field. And how do you steal 30 bases as a first baseman in two separate seasons? That's unheard of.
Bagwell played much of his career in a ballpark that suppressed right handed power numbers, too.
Frank Thomas has one more career SB than Jeff Bagwell had in 1997.
