As much as I love Weaver I'd have to say Verlander...what do u think?

It's practically a toss up for me. The only thing is Verlander might be able to stay more healthy, so I might lean toward him.

Verlander, easily. He's got better stuff, gets more groundballs, is more efficent, takes you deep into games and is more efficient.

weaver has horrendous mechanics, hes due a serious arm injury

So now that Verlander's thrown the no-no and hit 102 in the 9th... does that change the public opinion? It did for me... I'm very hard to impress as far as pitching goes, but Verlander dropped my jaw. He's got my vote...

I don't catch many AL games but I knew of Verlander and how good he was.
But holy christ, I haven't seen stuff that nasty since watching Wood strike out 20.
How on Earth could his season high in Ks be 7 before yesterday?

I just meant in general... and on the West Coast, you cant convince people that anyone's better than Weaver nowadays

Verlander. I think Weaver is gonna have an injury filled career for some reason

At this point in their careers it's obviously Verlander. I was by his stuff when he dominated the Brewers for a no-hitter (even though we had a crappy lineup that game).
