Since there is one for basketball, why not for baseball? the last one turned out to be pretty bad, but if you'd like to participate to be a judge just post in this thread, thanks!

Just simple guidelines, we will decide who the top 5 candidates are, vote for one, and nominate for another.

It was already tried once. Voting was inconsistent, awful picks started happening, subsequent bitching started, and it kind of collapsed a third of the way through. There's not enough posting in the forums (and especially this board) to sustain it.

I think it's hard to do something like this for baseball compared to a sport like basketball. Especially since this sport goes back 100+ years.
