My suggestion is this. Never dismiss your loyalties to your first team. Like you with the Kings, I've been a Magic fan for nearly 24 yrs. Ups and downs, seen them all. Like the Kings, the Magic aren't going to the playoffs for the fifth consecutive year. It blows complete a**. I share your grief. Since you say DMC is your fav player and he's playing for a team on the verge of a comeback trail to playoff status. Follow the Pelicans to take your mind of the Kings and their unfortunate situation. I do that with the Grizzlies in spite of their middle of the road status. .

It's important now to not do anything RASH if I'm the Pelicans. Think things through and make the right signings/trades with long-term future first and short-term future second in mind.

Congrats pelifan. I believe nobody would have anything to say if you decide to change your team logo back to Pelicans after this.

Now there seems to be another team in NBA that people can root for besides their own.
