Why don't we make him part of the trade that the Bulls fan proposed in the other thread.

He needs more time. Showed improvement on the defensive end v Griz. His offense is coming along decently

I've seen couple of 25+ min games he had last season and from what I saw he's a really good player... just like any player in the league... this dude need that 25+ min to showcase his talent... it's just weird why gentry keeps on sh**ting on him...

Gentry clearly hurt Buddy Hields development. But I do agree with Alonzo Mourning, Diallo has serious defensive issues right now. Not like in a Jahili Okafor unfixable kind of way but in a he cant make a rotation to save his life kind of way. But these are issues that dont get ironed out without consistent playing time. And there's only so much you can blame the on the players until you have to start putting blame on the coaching staff, Erman is supposedly a great defensive coach but it seems like half of the guys on the team are either lazy or dont know what they are doing on D. But this is all very typical of a Gentry run team, so I'm not sure where to assign blame.

As much as it pains me to say it I dont see him with much of a future in New Orleans and he'll be hard pressed to stay in the league. Hoping he proves me wrong but this situation, with Alvin Gentry at the helm, isn't the greatest for him....it's a pity because I would assume by what I've seem from him that he'd be able to fit in and take spot minutes from either Boogie or AD when they need breathers.

Yea at this point I'd just send him to Atlanta for their 2019 Wizards or Wolves 2nd round pick.

Just to give the kid a good developmental coach. Atlanta has too many picks as it is. I'm sure they'd take a flyer on him.

Not gonna lie i’m very surprised he played 15 minutes without fouling. His energy could help our 3rd quarters?

Why not?

I'd like to see him play 6 minutes a quarter from here on out.
