Thanks, man. Hopefully we can start another winning streak going. I didn't mean to jinx the team yesterday!

Oh shoot, my bad. All the games previewed @ NBA.com must have confused me. Thanks for the heads up.

A hornets thread a day early? very cool.

this should be a win. this team IMO is worse than any of the teams we won against in the 5 game win streak. yes even Minnesota. they may have more wins that Minny right now, but they were playing out of their minds earlier in the year, and if its possible, they are more injured now than they were the first week of the season when they went 4-0.

no excuse for this one. I hope the bench comes to play, because chris can't play 44 minutes again! Neither can West.

The Hornets' reserves combined for six points on 3-of-19 shooting, and Hornets coach Byron Scott joked after the game that he would hold tryouts for the team's bench.

"Our bench right now is so bad," Scott said. "It puts a whole lot of pressure on the starters."

He added: "I can't even call it a bench. I don't know what it is. I have no clue."

I'm not sure he is really joking. This team needs to do something about the bench at the trade deadline.

EDIT: okay maybe the clippers aren't worse than Minny. sometimes you forget just how miserable Minny is without KG. That commercial about KG carrying the whole world on his back is truly insightful. he didn't carry around the whole world, but he certainly did carry those 14 other guys on his team for 12 or so years. Just wanted to add that so no clipper fan would flame me. I'm sorry! :P

Great thread, The Answer!

Paul is scary good, and I can't wait to see him play tomorrow. Hopefully he puts on a show like he did when he was in our building against the other LA team. However, I hope the Clippers still win. :D

Good luck.

CP3 should have his way, looking for West to have another big game, need Chandler to stay out of foul trouble and limit Kaman.

Geaux Nawlins!

With both teams having athleticism on their side. This matchup will be interesting to look at. Although I wonder the Hornets cold shooting will follow them to tonight's match. Either way, good luck to both teams.

Although the Clips are beat up, we've played the likes of San Antonio and Phoenix tough. We haven't played well on our home floor and Nawlins excels on the road, so that should be interesting enough. CP3 is gonna have his way with the Clipper defense-- he'll be able to get to the hoop anytime he wants. I'm hoping the Clippers pull it together and find a way to win, but we're so injury-depleted that you never know what to expect.

I'm happy for the Hornets right now. All they needed was to be healthy and they'd be competitive. Their nucleus has gained another year of experience and growth. Paul is flat out amazing. Clippers will have their hands full tonight. I wish you guys luck, just not too much

He owns the Clippers, if you didn't know by now. He had 24 last time we met.

He's been on fire lately is all. He started this way last game against the Raptors.

And CP with 7 assists in the 1st quarter. If the bench can hold the lead a bit, the starters can get a little rest.

Team looks great right now, Peja needs to get it together.
