TV/Radio: ESPN, 102.9-FM, 830-AM

Notable: This is the Hornets' only game scheduled to be nationally televised on ESPN. . . . The Heat has lost nine in a row, missing center Shaquille O'Neal for all but the first two of those. Miami has had one winning streak this season, back-to-back games Dec. 9 and 10. . . . The Hornets have won eight of 10 but lost to the Los Angeles Lakers 109-80 at home Wednesday night. New Orleans played seven reserves in that game, and they combined to shoot 3-of-21 with eight turnovers.

HORNETS

Player | Pos. | Ht. | Wt. | PPG

Chris Paul | G | 6-0 | 175 | 21.9

David West | F | 6-9 | 240 | 19.4

Peja Stojakovic | F | 6-10 | 229 | 14.6

Tyson Chandler | C | 7-1 | 245 | 12.1

Morris Peterson | G | 6-7 | 220 | 9.3

Info about the pics:

WHAT: Family and Community Resource Center dedication with Hornets guard Chris Paul and Heat guard Dwyane Wade

WHO: Hornets guard Chris Paul, Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade, Superintendent of Recovery School District Paul Vallas, Sylvanie F. Williams, Principal Clinton Smith, Other councilmembers, Students and families

WHERE: Sylvanie F. Williams Elementary School, 3127 Martin Luther King Blvd., New Orleans

WHEN: Thursday, Jan. 10 at 4 p.m.

Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade are teaming up to donate $5,000 each to provide resources including computers, educational materials and furniture to a family and community center dedicated to providing parents with networking opportunities and other resources such as interactive learning. Both players will be in attendance at the dedication.

I imagine ESPN will talk about it as well.

I'm pretty sure they'll mention it once they take a moment to stop talking about 'other things' going on.

guh, true. :x

something tells me that the Hornets thread in the GB will see an insurgence of newfound "opinions" after tonight's telecast on ESPN. :noway:

Hey guys looking forward to the game this should be a chance for us to show case some talent that we have sitting on the bench for potential trade bate. I was just wondering if i was allowed to post a site which carries hornets games (not this one in particular because it is on espn but if it is not nationally televised it can be viewed on this site i have), I know it aint easy to catch the hornets so i was just wondering if i would be violating hornets board policy. Anyways hope we blow them out of the water looking for big numbers from julian wright and pargo.

i guess i will take the chance i will probably get a warning but raptorsnation.net is a site that has a feed of the nba league pass you just need to register and the rest is entertainment archived games too so enjoy, links are on the front page but if they dont work well you can also request links in the nba chat. Like i said earlier nationally televised games are not available. You can ask on nba chat aout them but the quality is not that good enjoy fellow hornets fans.

Thanks. But I still hope the Hornets don't take the Heat lightly. No team should be disrespected just by looking at their record.

Bobby Jackson with 9 points already, 3-3 from 3 point. Is that a sight for sore eyes or what?

Peja just shot a air ball....

The Hornets better make it a 8-10 points lead or the Heats/Wade may do some damage
