Hey Hornets fans, just wanted to guage your interest in Michael Redd. I know your team is doing great right now, but I do think he'd add a whole lot to your team in the right deal. I think that might be possible since Redd is potentially available on the cheap considering that our roster is so mismatched that it is hindering hte development of our young bigs.
Here are a few scenarios I thought of, let me know what you think or if you have any other scenarios or just suggestions to alter these:
Bucks trade: Michael Redd, Bobby Simmons
Hornets trade: Peja Stojakavic, Julian Wright, Bobby Jackson
or
Bucks trade: Michael Redd
Hornets trade: Morris Peterson, Julian Wright, Bobby Jackson
Charlie Villaneuva could be added to either of these deals if we can get a different backup 4 from you gusy or in a different trade. A future first also could be added in the right scenario I bet too.

hrm, I'd probably do either if the opportunity presented itself.
Charlie V not necessary, losing Julian would suck. I'd be more inclined to do the one that moves Peja, Mo Pete is prime for a 6th man role once a better option at SG comes along.
then again, who'd play the 3 for us? it doesn't seem to be working too well for Redd right now, being forced to play the 3 that is.
In the end, the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Get your guys to beat up on Phoenix tonight and we'll be sitting pretty in first place in the Western Conference.

Damn, I didn't realize you guys were doing that well---congrats fo sho.
I think you only do this deal if you look at it as giving up players with potential and players not worth their contracts. I based it on the pemise that hte Bucks are very high on Juian Wright, which we heard they were before the draft (though it could have been a smokescreen).
I agree the SF issue would be real for you guys if you do this, as Redd at SF is very far from ideal. Simmons might be rejuvanated by playing with Paul though, and the Hornets were a team targeting him before he signed with us, so there might be some interest still.
Can Peterson play the 3 some, or is he striclty a 2-guard?

He probably could in a pinch, but I think the idea from day one was to reduce Mo's load as much as possible, not add to it.
Simmons, yeah, missed him, could be a good addition at the right price (and health-willing).
I guess I think the value isn't too bad, might even be short-changing you guys, but losing Mo and/or Peja at this point might throw a wrench into the way this team has been developing. We finally have a healthy Peja and he's outplaying many of our expectations, and we have Mo Pete, who is doing "exactly what we needed" from our starting SG.
So, like I said, IF the opportunity presented itself, I personally would do it and I'm sure the Hornets FO would think long and hard about it...but in the end, I'd almost just as rather this deal not ever be presented.

I really don't wanna trade Julian, because I think we need a player like him to develop for us, because we won't be in the lottery anymore...
That said, I think Michael Redd would look great here, but I think I would rather wait for some disgruntled star that we could get for pennies on the dollar.

Redd's shooting 37% from deep, Peja's shooting 44% while some still call him "inconsistant." So as far as the role required (stand in the corner and wait for the open shot) Peja's looking to be a better fit for us. Also Redd wont like our offence because he still wont be the main scoring option (which he seems to be lamenting slightly in Milwaukee right now with Bogut's improvement.)
So prolly a no-no from the Hornets, of course my opinion would change if Peja gets injured for another long stint ;p
