What do you guys think of Julian Wright?

Post#1 » by WadeKnicks2010 » Wed May 7, 2008 12:13 am

He was one of the players I was interested in coming into this draft. I sort of forgot about him with the season coming and ending in such a bang and my Knicks falling apart etc.. So how has the Jayhawk been doing for you guys? What has he showed this year that you were impressed with? What were his negatives? What do you think he will be in the future?

I think it was hilarious how low he was rated when everyone did a redraft on the PC board.

JuJu will be a starter in this league, as Peja's role slows down in a year or 2 you'll see Julian come into his own. border line All-Star potential (I think he can be better than David West all round.)

Love his hops, didnt realise he has NBA 3pt range, can play D. lots to like really.

Julian Wright is further proof that Byron Scott can develop young guys who buy into what he's selling. For this reason alone, I can only be partly disappointed that Bass is on Dallas now. He didn't buy in.

Wright was airballing 10 footers from the baseline early in the year. Now, when he shoots a 3, I have almost as much confidence in it going in as I do when Peja gets an open look.

Best of all, he's young, defensive-minded, and looking to be a perfect compliment to CP for years to come. The Hornets have been looking for a defender/slasher at the 2/3, and look what they found. :)

Well I do play as the Hornets on NBA 2K8 so Im something of an expert here, so believe me when I say Julian Wright is an incredible player. Hell, I even have him starting at SG for me because he can slash and hit the 3. According to his ratings he has the tools to become a huge talent in a class full of gifted small forwards.

I forgot to add that he has a padlock icon underneath him whuch means he is a terrific defender too. Look at that, I just blocked a guy.
