Clippers, Nuggets, Blazers...

3 games road trip on tap this week of Thanksgiving. Hopefully they can go at least 2-1. I may start making game threads when the Hornets return home against the Suns on 12/3. Devin is questionable against the Clippers and Rasual will start for Mo again.

2-1 would be awesome. I'm kinda glad Rasual is starting, hes streaky but I like his effort, he hustles hard out there. Would be nice to see Julian Wright take up more of a point forward role and Devin Brown continue to take Mike's minutes, Brown shoots alot but atleast he drives the lane and attacks the rim.

I agree. I think Scott would go with Wright at some point forward before playing James. A blog article I read earlier said Devin's status won't be known until right before tip-off. Out of the 3 upcoming games I think the Blazers will be the hardest. I don't know the last time the Hornets won there and both times we played there last season, a Hornet was ejected.

I dont mind if a Hornet gets ejected, aslong as its Mike James for stinking up our bench too much in the "Rose" garden.

I'm not going to under-rate the Clippers chances tonight, I don't think Randolph is playing but B Diddy would love nothing more than to beat his former team, Eric Gordon will likely get a chance to tear us up and Kaman has been a beast lately. So it goes without saying I'm worried about the Blazers and Nuggets games too, lol.

It was nice to see Peja find some range in the first leg of the OKC back to back, hopefully that will become a trend, we really need him to be scoring 16+ ppg consistantly right now, West isn't the same player he was last year, and we can;t rely on CP3 to score 30 points a night, not sure he really wants to anyway.

The Nuggets are looking more like a playoff team since Billups came along, Kenyon Martin is productive, Nene is showing he was worth the contract he got, and Melo hasn't been on fire yet, so we're really looking at 3 testing games that should go some way to telling us where we're at this year.

Wishful Predictions:

Hornets 106 - Clippers 98
Hornets 110 - Nuggets 109
Hornets 101 - Blazers 97

That would make me believe we're playoff bound this year again.

One down, two to go, Hornets win 99 - 87. CP3 with 2 triple doubles in 2 games, glad hes on my fantasy team.

West scored well tonight, though still isn't grabbing many boards, Devin Brown was again great off the bench, got to the free throw line a few times, something which we seem to lack.

For the Clippers: Eric Gordon looks like hes legit, they better make this Mobley 4 Randolph deal work out for his sake.

Nice 3 game win streak we have going here. I hope we can keep it up cos traditionally the west coast swings have killed us.

Why does it seem like the Hornets haven't played hardly any games? Seems like all other teams have played about 15 or 16 while the Hornets have only played 13. It doesn't sound like the other teams have played a whole lot more but it kind of feels like it. And the Hornets have been getting quite a few '4 day off between games'. After Friday they don't play again until 12/3. That's 5 whole days! Rest doesn't seem to benefit the Hornets.

The team stayed in L.A. after the Clippers game and was to leave on Wednesday. Tyson said he is to meet the team in Denver. His wife was due to give birth in L.A. on Tuesday. I hope everything went well with that because the team will need some of his rebounding even though he hasn't been doing much of it as of late.

Happy Thanksgiving! Hopefully the Hornets can make it happier with a win. I'll be out today and possibly tomorrow so here's to good luck. And here's to hoping none of our Hornets get ejected from the Rose Garden tomorrow.

GEAUX HORNETS!

I think tonight's game will be a good measuring stick to see if the Hornets really are getting back on track. I got my fingers crossed.

105-101 Hornets win, CP3 disappeared in the first half, carried us home though.

JR Smith almost got an early christmas present, it's amazing what the guy can do when hes motivated.

Well, we're 2-0, onto Portland and an ejection, haha. Lets not add ourselves to Portlands list of blowouts!

P.S. Rasual Butler should just stay in the starting lineup, forget Mo!
