Tough to say for sure, but i'll let you in on his history with us.
Last season saw limited action, in B Scott's doghouse for whatever reason, this pre-season started making an impact, and made the bench rotation at the start of the year (because of Julian Wright's injury we all presumed.)
When Wright was declared fit he didn't make it back into the rotation, coaching staff sighting they "didnt know what he was going to do while on the court" so Butler remained. Then Peja and MoPete went down so Butler was first into the starting lineup (because Posey's designated 6th man) and while inconsistant his production has been solid.
MoPete & Peja are both back and Butler seems to have retained his starting role. There was an "incident" between MoPete and Butler early in the year at training so theres obviously been an open door for starting SG role since the beginning of the year, Butler seems to have earnt it.
Basicly what you can expect is that while Butler is spotting up for 3's and knocking them down in a hot & cold manner, hustling hard on defense and getting a steal and/or block every night he'll retain his starting position and depending on his impact Vs that of Posey/MoPete/Devin Brown he'll get between 15 & 35 mins a night
Hope that helps a little.

Hmmm, haven't got as much news for you on him, but...
Was drafted 12th overall in the same draft we got Cedric Simmons with the 15th pick, Simmons got shipped coz his work ethic wasn't unto speed but it seemed the plan was to keep one and let one go. So I think he is in the Hornets long term plans.
As far as his playing time and production, its hard to say, when he plays with aggression & confidence (which he has been doing lately) hes servicable. In his last 5 games hes averaged:
20mins 9.3pts 14-20fg 9-9ft .8blk .8stl 3rebs
His rebound numbers are low, but hes been extremely efficient of late, so hopefully he can keep that up and turn the hustle up a notch.
