Hornets Ideal Offseason Moves

The Hornets are a team with a bright future built around Chris Paul and David West, but need to fill in some holes in the starting lineup and on the bench. The first move the hornets should make is trying to acquire a veteran free agent point guard like Andre miller of Mike Bibby to run the bench. They also need to address the shooting guard spot and a good option would be jamal crawford who could be had at a cheap price in a sign and trade. I think Julian Wright should start next year becuase he has all the tool to be a good SF with and average of 15 and 7 with solid D. SO the starting lineup would be: Paul, Crawford, Wright, West and Chandler. The team can dill some needs with their draft pick by drafting pattrick patterson a PF with good potential (a Paul Milsap/Carl Landry type) who would provide much needed depth at the PF position. They could also draft a point guard (if they can't get a vet) like Eric Maynor or Jeff Teague, who would be a great young backup behind paul. Then they could pick up a cheap Center for the bench like Theo Ratliff via free agency or try to sway a better veteran Center to sign like McDyess or Rasheed.

We can dream....
Except for the Crawford bit, that bits a nightmare.

Ive heard the Cavs will be looking at Chandler hard this off-season if hes made available again. What are the chances hes totally healthy for next season though? Cause if that were to happen I would guess that would reduce the reason to trade him in the first place.
I know thereve been rumors of a Shaq for Chandler trade. The Cavs wouldnt match that kind of deal in terms of talent.
THe kind of deal we'd offer is Ben Wallace (one of the biggest-if not the biggest- expiring contracts next year), Sasha Pavlovic (team option for next year) and maybe a draft pick for Chandler and a filler.

Obviously there would have to be filler in a O'Neal for Chandler deal, of Daniels or Posey (doubt you could unload Peterson in the same deal), which one could the Hornets part with?

You guys do realize that the team is pretty much pawning off players (i.e. Chandler) to other teams for cash reasons?

what about something like west/armstrong/wright for amare/lopez??
If the suns are still trying to move amare, i think that is a pretty fair trade.

Getting rid of David West would be a great start.
