Offers for Carlos Zambrano

Post#1 » by treyZz » Fri May 18, 2007 5:52 am

Still no contract with the Cubs. Let's assume a 5yr/80m deal, since that was rumored.

What young prospects would you give up for him?

Milledge, Pelfrey or Humber, and a lesser prospect plus Heilman.

Realistically I wouldn't give up anything greater than David Murphy.

The Brewers would probably trade Rottino out of the minors, but since Zambrano is no sure thing of signing with anyone he is traded to... don't expect much.

I would love for some on-the-bubble AL team to trade a top prospect or two for him, only to watch in horror as his ERA balloons to a shade over 5.00 totally throwing them out of contention.
