Chris Snelling for Ryan Langerhans

In what universe does this trade make sense for the Nationals? Snelling may never be healthy long enough to realize his potential, but Ryan Langerhans is a fourth OF and I'm a big Ryan Langerhans fan. The Nationals are going nowhere and this is the trade they make? They trade a guy who can do nothing but get better for a guy who at his peak will be a defensive replacement who can maybe take a walk, too?

Just great. Seattle gives up Snelling for Jose freaking Vidro, and now he winds up in Oakland. Look for him to have a .400+ OBP and hit 20 homers a year for an AL West team. Fire Bavasi.
