There are still two months to go before the trade deadline. But I'm already envisioning some deals that need to be made. Here are a few that come to mind:

1. Scott Rolen to the Dodgers
2. Garrett Atkins and Todd Helton to the Angels
3. Chad Cordero to the Indians
4. Ken Griffey Jr. to the White Sox
5. Troy Glaus to the Tigers
6. Al Reyes to the Brewers
7. Jon Rauch to the Red Sox

Ok, read the piece now, and I'm not gonna hate on Heyman. He basically said the same things I did, if St Louis is still struggling, and the Glaus trade was to replace Sean Casey, which would be a good move for Detroit. I didn't like his logic on a lot of his ideas though (Griffey as a DH wouldnt work, because when Thome came back, Griffey would be right back out at CF), but its not as ridiculous as I thought when it wasn't summarized.

Also if he really thinks Jon Rauch is a big asset, he's dreaming. But he's right about one thing - Sox pen can't stay this good for much longer... but damn have they been good.

I wonder what the Brewers would need to give up to get Al Reyes.

I predict a Yankees-Sox-Giants trade involving ARod, Ortiz, Barry Bonds, Phil Hughes, Tim Lincecum, and Theo Epstein's wife's fidelity.

The second page of that article says that Mike Hargrove is coming off the "hot seat" in Cleveland. Nobody tell the reporter that Cleveland already fired him a long time ago and he's had two jobs since then.

As long as the Giants are getting ARod, Ortiz, and Hughes, I'm down :D
