Where Will A-Rod end up next year?

Post#1 » by Boston's Future » Wed Jul 11, 2007 3:27 pm

I'm saying somewhere out west, away from all the media attention. I'll say the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim is his next stop. The Angels spend money, and they are very close to have a world series winning team.

I really have doubts that he'll stay with the Yankees. I think the Angels will do whatever is possible to sign him. San Fran is another option I would think, they need a successor to Bonds.

P.S. I'd put this in the General Discussion Forum, not many people visit this forum.

Yankees, I think.
1) I believe A-Rod has pride....I think he wants to show New York that he can really play good baseball and take this team on his shoulders
2) Yankees can offer more money than everybody else

True, A-Rod said he wants to win as a Yankee. The Angles can throw a lot of money around also.

I'd say the Cubs if Cuban can buy them.

Owners will not let their team go and give him 30 million a year. Yankees can do that. Maybe angels. He will stay a yankee.

Depending on who buys the Cubs, they might be able to match any offer. And I think A-Rod would love to play for Lou again.

Imagine the rivalry if A-Rod goes to Boston.

The chances of A-Rod playing 3rd for the Yankees next season are not much better than the chances of me playing third base for them.
