With CoCo leaving for the Reds...are the Brewers gonna turn back to Turnbow? Seth McClung(sp)? Who's out there FA wise and available via trade? Who you got, what you want? If you wanna add players, MKE could maybe have a need for a LF.

I've heard Bush's name bantered about...he's got great stuff, but I don't think that he has the 'it' that closers need. And I don't think he can develop it. Names that have surfaced thus far as FA, Dotel and Percival. Then their was some minor mention of Riske, from KC? I'm not too up on the recent history's of any of them so I don't have much of an opinion. I know TP is like 38 and Dotel has had injury issues...thats about it.

He doesn't have "it"? You mean that magical gift that only certain pitchers get where they come into the 9th inning with a 1, 2 or 3 run lead with 3 outs to get? I think most pitchers have "it".

No, I mean that pissed off, hard nosed, gotta get it done attitude. The guy that walks into a room and commands respect. I don't think that that is Bush. I'd prefer Clung or reverting to Bow before I would consider Bush...I think he's still a viable 3rd

A hard nosed get it done attitude? And Cordero gave you that feeling? There's no such thing, go in, get 3 outs.

you havent seen the great closers then. theres a feeling when Pap or Mo come into the game that its over. you try and score runs in the 7th and 8th just because there presence looms so large. watch ONE papelbon close situation and youll know what "it" is

Doesn't hurt to ask. After all, he's only the Brews "2nd best prospect" according to his bio.

You also shouldn't believe it if someone tells you there's no such thing as a stupid question...

Wait you were serious? Yeah he was "only" the Brewers second best prospect but that Yovani Gallardo fellow was ahead of him.
LOL at the Papelbon pictures.

Nathan is actually available. He's asking for a $10M/year contract that the Twins simply can't afford. They're looking for the right offer.
Plus they have Neshek ready to go if need be.

Plus theres no way in hell the A's would trade Street for that, and if they would come on Cardinals.
