MY friend/slash neighbor is a low level front office guy for the Phillies,
he suggested some deal like this
New York Gets Bret Myers, Ryan Madson, Wes Helms posssiblity either Adam Eaton or some prospects not Carlos Carrasco
Phillies get one of these guys Phil Hughes, IAn Kennedy, Jose Tabata
and also Wilson Betmit, Ross Ohlendorf, and Melky Calberra
other news
Phillies are considering Kris Benson or Mike Mussina to round out the rotation
Phillies may enter the Alex Rios sweepstakes will cost them Carlos Carrasco
and also if Pat Burrell trade will be to one of Calfornia teams, prospects and some middle relieve
Phillies may consider a cheap fourth outsider.... Bobby Kielty, Emil Brown, Brad Wilkerson

if your friend keeps proposing garbage like that he's gonna stay a low level the yankees could be held at gun point and still wouldnt agree to that trade

Why would the Yankees deal Hughes (or Kennedy or Tabata) for a bunch of mediocre players that they don't need? When they flinched at even offering up Hughes for the best pitcher in baseball (Johan Santana)?
AND you want them to also include Ohlendorf (who was throwing 97-98 mph after the Yanks changed his mechanics last season) AND Melky Cabrera (who numerous teams are interested in)?
And not Carlos Carrasco? There'd be no reason for the Yankees to do it even if you included Carrasco.

The only one of those guys who interests me is Brett Myers. I hope you go back, read that statement, bring it to your friend, and explain to him that this is why he is a LOW LEVEL front office guy.
