Who are the best...

3B and 1B available via trade?

The Giants could really use at least one or the other and can offer a fairly good package for the right piece. I don't know if there is a "right piece" out there right now.

Thoughts?

Hm...I wouldn't touch Rolen in the Cards paid his entire salary. Blalock, on the other hand, would be very interesting. Good call there.

Dan Johnson,Scott Hatteberg,Nick Johnson,Richie Sexson could be traded for, maybe even trade for a guy like Chris Duncan and move him back to 1st base. Or sign guys like Sean Casey,Tony Clark as for 3rd Blalock would fit in good.

I think they want an upgrade on offense. I could post the same OPS as Brandon Inge does.
