Told you last year he was the best pitching prospect in Texas.

DVD is obsolete.

Chach wins this thread, I think.

Man, these threads are fun to read a year later. Go read around this forum. I've posted some hilarious stuff. I like the declarative statements where someone says so-and-so is better than so-and-so and it's not even close.

Brent Fisher? LOL.

Chach, my ass, although I do deserve negative points for saying Bailey is better than Buchholz, which may give Chach the slight lead.

Those guys don't count. They didn't make any leap. They just, at best, did what they were supposed to do. And someone of them didn't really perform at all. Villalona, for instance. What did he do? Jeffress? Conger? Bryan Anderson? These guys didn't perform that well. And you just named guys who were given huge signing bonuses and taken high in the draft. Please, bigboy. You're better than that.

I don't think anyone expected Buchholz to be this good.

Hey they weren't in BA top 100 last year, and now they are.

Starting in July Anderson actually looked like he could be the best catching prospect in the game (Wieters wasn't signed yet) and was one of the youngest players in AA. Damn fatigue and reality set in.

Villalona, kid is considered the shiznit.

Deolis and Brett Anderson didn't even get a mill, off the top of my head.

I even have your bff Lars.

Chris Marrero is now considered greatness.

Jeffress struckout 10 per 9 and has hot heat.

Conger actually performed pretty well, a catcher in the midwest league with a OPS above .800 is impressive.

And most importantly I didn't pick Brent Fisher.

Who are your guys for 2008?

No, I hands down win this thread with Buchholz proclamation alone, and the Braun leg humping puts me well over the top. Bowden did have an impressive run in Lancaster and I still expect great things in 2008 from him.

Let's start another thread for 2008. mahalo

Chris Tillman's still on track to be a top-10 pitching prospect next season. At least I got that right.

I'm pretty disappointed I didn't even post in this thread last year.
