Remove all San Francisco Giants from your rosters

Post#1 » by mt dew » Tue Apr 10, 2007 4:52 am

Except for Matt Cain.

He's the only one I'd even consider having on my team. Unfortunately I drafted him in a couple leagues and am probably stuck with him...

He should get about 6 wins this season because nobody on the team can hit, including Bonds.

Nice going, San Francisco. Be proud, Giant fans!

Zito is horrible. Matt Cain had a great outing tonight but ended up losing. He took a no-hitter deep into the game.

Also Ray Durham and Dave Roberts are worth having on your team. And Randy Winn and Omar Vizquel are decent in deep leagues. And Tim Lincecum will be the best pitcher on the team when he comes up. Plus Armando Benitez can pick up some saves for you, but I wouldn't bother with him unless you're in a really deep league.

Also, Barry Bonds will have a monster season so he's probably worth having on your team. Just remember to sit him on day games after night games.

Your analysis of the San Francisco Giants fantasy values is less than stellar I imagine.

just sounds like a sarcastic, frustrated giants fan. durham's got sneaky value though. last yr's numbers were a bit fluky and out of line with his regular production, but how many 2B eligible guys bat cleanup?

Add to that Rich Aurilia, who has tons of value in Yahoo! 5x5 leagues since he's slotted in almost every position conceivable, even batboy.

I'm glad to have Omar Vizquel and Armando Benitez in my 20 team league.

Dave Roberts is worth a pickup in late rounds as well.
