Keeper League: Webb vs. Bedard

Both on the same tier, Bedard is a year older and has this hip inflamation that's scratched him from a couple starts. Who do you have?

I would go with Webb. Bedard could be more dominant and has much higher strikeout potential but I think he's too much of an injury risk to invest in long term. You want to know that your best pitchers are going to make 30-35 starts not 25-30. Webb is probably going to hover between 160-180 Ks per season while Bedard can get you well over 200 but I think there's more potential for Webb in the future to win 16-20 games as well so it evens out. I think their numbers are mostly equal and so you have to defer to the one who has proven he can stay healthy.
