My Ben Sheets Trade

Post#1 » by Da Schwab » Sun Jun 10, 2007 10:41 pm

I just traded Sheets for:

Mike Mussina
Micah Owings
Jason Marquis

The last two have almost identical stats to that of Sheets and I'll probably just let Moose go.

Did I undertrade?

Whats the rest of your staff look like? Standard cats?

I don't think I would have let Sheets go for that though.

I would have kept Sheets. I would never trust Marquis, I still think at some point he ends up getting hit hard and for an extended period of time. Moose has been bad this season, he's not a reliable fantasy guy. And Owings doesn't add enough for my liking.

I have Roy Oswalt, Andy Pettitte, Rich Harden (DL), Dave Bush, and relievers like JJ Putz, Aki Otsuka, Pat Neshek and Scot Shields.

Its been holding well for itself, but my hitters have been supporting me the most.

The only way you could justify that trade is if you play in a 20-team league.
