I like to make trades in leagues but I don't go over board on them like some people in leagues do to just to make them.

One trade so far that has worked out good for i made a month ago.

Russle Martin for Brain Roberts i got roberts in the deal.

Matt Holliday for Jake Peavy I got Holliday. I had really good starting pitching and i still do.

Dye for aaron rowand i got dye i made that trade about the same time as the roberts trade.

In anther trade in may i traded Mark Teixeira for bobby jenks and renteria and intill the renteria it was a great move for me.

This is the last trade i think i made this year was a pretty big one

Jimmy Rollins (Phi - SS)
Alfonso SorianoDL (ChC - OF)
Ian Kinsler (Tex - 2B)
Brandon Webb (Ari - SP)
Roger Clemens (NYY - SP)

FOR

Ryan Howard (Phi - 1B)
David Wright (NYM - 3B)
Juan Pierre (LAD - OF)
Carlos Zambrano (ChC - SP)

I got the howard david right part of the deal. Prolly lost that one but i gained alot in offense.

Two trades really helped me a keeper league that took me from near the bottom of the league to a top three team.

First trades
Aramis Ramirez
Aubrey Huff
Livan Hernandez

for
Brian Roberts
Todd Helton
Bobby Jenks

While losing Ramirez sure did hurt, Mike Lowell has done a nice job as his replacement. My team needed a second sb guy and Roberts has filled that role very nicely, not to mention I didn't have much of anything at second base. Jenks was big for me too, seeing I really needed help at closer. Helton has been used for my team off an on.

Second Trade
Jon Lester
First round Prospect Pick

for
Trevor Hoffman

As I said earlier my closing stunk. Despite Hoffman's age he was really needed for my team. I didn't trust that Lester would come back at all to the Red Sox. And while he did come back he's now back in the minors. Losing the prospect pick hurt, but I needed to make this trade to win now.
