I'm not talking about a Sizemore, Tulo, or Braun type younger player...

And I'm sure we both know, that if given a full season injury-free, Weeks is a 30-30 player.

And at what point has he been injury free and productive? What indications from this off-season make you think he will do that? Did he go on a special stretching program a la Jose Reyes? Did he go to API to get his body into military grade shape to handle the rigors of the season? Did he buy a Jobu statue on his trip to Haiti? We(meaning both of us) are going on gut instinct that we hope he gets heathy and is productive. I'm willing to take that gamble at the right price. I like Lee and his steady production (and surprising SB totals over the past few seasons, although I expect those to slowly decline with his weight increasing) but I already have enough OFs and need some IF help so I'm willing to part with him. PECOTA is putting up 575 plate appearances (not ABs), with 18 HRs and 20 SBs. You realize that Weeks has had one YEAR where he broke the 20 HR mark? 2005 when he hit 12 HRs in 55 games in AAA. PECOTA's 90 percentile projection barely has him breaking .300 and 20 HRs so yeah, he has the talent to hit 30 HRs but can he stay on the field that long? Fukudome has a similar projection with less SBs but a higher average and Lee's 90% is .316 with 34 HRs and 11 SBs. I think the trade benefits both of us because Weeks may be productive but is unlikely to reach the 30-30 level but improves my IF none the less and Lee is the steady bat for your UTL spot. I'd move either Fukudome or Lee but that is about it for my roster. mahalo

You better hope Weeks doesn't get hurt this year, or else coming to Cali to kill you.

Edit- Sett once you get a chance will you fix the rosters to reflect these two trades, because I'm not sure who's on my team anymore.

Confirmed. I will be adding Buchholz to my major league roster once the trade has gone through.

This trade hurts quite a bit. Butler is one of my favorite young players, Upton has the potential to be Griffey Redux and I had my eye on a few prospects with that pick. But now my catching spot is solidified for the next decade after this season and Kershaw is a beast as well. I love/hate this trade. mahalo

And you better hope you don't take my next Matt Kemp with that #35 pick, or else I'm going to St. Louis to pee on Colby Rasmus.

Sorry about my lack of activity guys. I've just relocated to Valencia for the weekend and it's actually 12:30 here. You caught me after a couple drinks, but I think I should be coherent enough to make a pick soon.
