julio already got pulled once for a save opp and blew another save, keep an eye on taylor tankersley or henry owen for the marlins. in regards to otsuka, gagne's off the DL on friday. take that for what its worth.

ok julio has already blown a save, got yanked for loading the bases in the 9th, and now was given a day off and wasnt even given a save opp. henry owens got the save tonight. i'd prolly look to pick him up in deeper leagues. t.tankersley is days away from his return and i think he should be in the mix as well. its prolly shaping up to be a closer by committee, but i like tankersley's prospects if he can somehow reduce his walks.
marlins might not be that good, but i think they'll provide alot of save opps cuz of their starting pitching, NL east ballparks and weak offense.

I already dropped Julio in a couple of my leagues. He's on his way to being demoted from the closer spot.

those of yall in deep leagues in need of BP help or save opps, check out joakim soria. hes been the royals best releiver so far and has easily outperformed riske.
he was a rule 5 pick this last winter, #2 overall behind josh hamilton and his line thus far: 5IP 5K 0ER 0.60WHIP including a 2 inning save.
even when dotel comes back he could still have some value cuz dotel's likely to get injured again.
hes an option in 12 team leagues IMO and a definite pick-up in 15+ leagues.

oh and julio has been officially been removed from the closer role. i'd pick up henry owens or taylor tankersley (who should be activated any day) now.

Should I replace Brian Roberts at 2nd? I'm doing alright with steals right now, so Roberts' loss wouldn't be significant in that aspect. I've got Sizemore, Beltran, Wright and Furcal all putting up decent stolen bases numbers.

I'd like to explore the possibility of replacing Roberts, would that be an ideal move? Kelly Johnson, Marcus Giles, Upton, Phillips, Kent, Durham and Polanco are all available via waivers. Who would be the likely upgrade over Roberts?

Thanks in advance guys.

Hmm in preseason Roberts was hands down one of the top 2B picks after Cano, Kinsler, Utley

Oh alright. I'll be more patient with him, it's still early...but I was expecting a bit more out of him. I'll ride him out.

Thanks wtb.

I havent really given up on anyone yet, the first month of the season is very up and down and players sometimes have to play themselves into shape or into grooves.

I thought Zumaya was hurt.

Jeremy Accardo could be good again because BJ Ryan is not ready yet after Tommy John surgery. Also, George Sherrill was just named the closer of the Orioles. Might not get many opportunities, but if he owns the job he'll get some.

Another sleeper on the Orioles is Adam Jones. He's a bigtime prospect.

anyways who'd you rather have in OF Corey Patterson or Carlos Gomez?
