I'm looking for 2B, C, SP, or RP help in return. Teahen and Bradley can be had on the cheap but the others will cost something decent in return.

Yo, I want Chipper. I have Orlando Hudson, Brandon Phillips and Kelly Johnson at 2B. All up for grabs.

What do you want? You can have both of mine if you want 'em.

Want to work a deal around David Wright for these two picks plus something?

Schafer isn't a bad pick. I am always a bit leery of players that show nothing and then BOOM! vaginatown, they are breakout prospects. He is a better pick, me thinks, than either of your two previous picks because he has actually performed but again, I think his excellent defense rises him up the prospect charts, taking away some of his value in fantasy terms. But he was definitely on my radar if anyone decided to spoil my pick.

Ross Detwiler. SP, Washington

Why the hell did you people draft Parker and Moskos over Detwiler? I know he's a bit thin but christ, he already made it to the majors. mahalo

Damn, I was going to pick Detwiler up on Yahoo, but then I saw he was starting at A and I didn't want to use up a roster spot for that.

Parker > any other pitcher....

Is Detwiler going to be good enough after his first 50 IP to be better than any of your other pitchers, Chach?

He was terrible in his first pro-stint last year.

But he does have a career major league ERA of 0, a K/9 of 9 and a K/BB of "undefined; cannot divide by zero" so that is something.

I'm just happy you're all racist and don't like Johnny Cueto. It's laughable that people still rank Homer Bailey ahead of him.

Mike Pelfrey. Easily.

Detwiler, honestly, is the pitcher farthest away from the big leagues in my system (and that includes Porcello) and by starting him in A ball, I think the Nats will let his natural talent progress him rather than pus him too hard. He's a lefty with a low-mid 90s fastball, a plus curve, and a average/plus change with clean mechanics. All he needs now is to add more meat to his frame to withstand the rigors of the big leagues. He should be slated for around 150 innings this season, putting him at 180 in 2009. I can always package some of my good but not ace pitchers (like Meche and Lester) later on for a bat if need be. Imagine the rotation I could have in three years:
Haren/Kazmir/Lackey/Buchholz/Kershaw/Porcello/Detwiler
Y'all don't stand a chance.

I honestly thought someone had taken Cueto, I had no idea he was still available. I would have taken him over Detwiler.

I have plenty of OF and RPs BG, what do you need for Phillips? mahalo

Well I picked Parker for a few reasons:

1. I have him as as the #3 pitching prospect behind Porcello and Price.

2. He has the highest ceiling out of anybody that was available when I picked, IMO.

3. My team doesn't need to be invaded with youth since most of my team is in or entering their primes.

4. The possibility of Parker emerging in 2-3 years on a team that already has Peavy, Hughes, Beckett, Cain was too good to pass up.

5. On top of all that, he'll be in the friendliest division for pitchers in baseball.

Detwiler is a solid prospect in his own right, I'd just rather wait on Parker to develop, it'll be worth it.

I'm not entirely sure Detwiler is going to break 50 IP this year. He might but Washington isn't going anywhere so why bring him up before September 1st? He's starting in High A so he's going to have to pass through 3 stages to make it to the majors.

You got it pretty tough Bove so let me help you out. I'll take Longoria off of your hands for you, what do you want for him? mahalo

I need a 3B. So unless you want to deal up Braun for Phillips and something, I don't see anything happening. And Braun won't even be a 3B next year which is probably the earliest my team will be any good. No, I don't want Marte or Wigginton.

Nice Boom! Vaginatown reference.

I'll pick Fautino de los Santos and Austin Jackson.

Sosa, I'll just release Dye, so you can pick him up.

I know it must hurt that I still have a better farm than you, even though I just traded away Wieters and Kershaw.

bigboy1234=eye for talent
TyCobb=eye for busts

Just messing with you, but if you do get kg's 2 picks and pick the guy I want at 27, I'm stealing your password and trading myself Wright.

Probably at least Carlos Gomez man. Why else would kg2005 sacrifice the option to draft the couple of formidable Twins prospects still on the board.
