Wot else you gut?
What do you want? I have everything.
I don't want to give up anything crazy for a 36 year old 3B who hasn't played a full season since 2003, though.

Don't worry none of them are on Goldstein's and Law's lists either.
While I agree that his strikeout rate is nice, these three prospect evaluators are scouting based. Also, I do think they are writing off Rowell too soon, and Erbe has a good amount of talent too. All three were young for there level last year too.

Yeah, exactly...Inman is so underrated. He had, I'm pretty sure, the second most K's in the minors last year. He has pretty good control and gets alot of ground balls. They're hating on him just cause he's fat and ugly.
Billy Rowell struck out quiet a bit, but he has tremendous power at 6'5. He can even still a few bases.
I wasn't surprised Erbe didn't make any Top 100's, well, he should have probably been 80-100, but whatever.

Inman's dominance in the lower minors hinged on his control and command, an ugly sign in terms of projecting pitchers. His stuff isn't going to get much better and his control is so good, there is little room for him to improve on that too. So unless he starts using HGH, he is kind of at his peak and he's only at AA. He struggled mightily at both AA stops and that wasn't just the "end of the season, that was half the season. One thing I noticed was a rise in his HR rate. He still struck out a number of guys (at a lesser clip than usual, however) but his HR rate spiked big time. I wonder if this is a matter of poor location (a bad sign), more advanced hitters (another bad sign) or just bad luck in hitter friendly leagues. I think Inman has enough stuff to make it in the majors but I think BA's prediction of 3-4 starter is accurate. Watch how Ian Kennedy plays out this season, I think they have a lot in common. Good but not overpowering stuff from a righty relying on secondary pitches and control. mahalo

Homer Bailey at 9 is so hilarious. Andrus at 19. Horrible. Brandon Wood at 16? Please. Jed Lowrie at 73? He's probably the best SS prospect in baseball.
Drew Stubbs. Give me a break.
If you're going to rank Porcello he's the best pitching prospect in baseball. Putting him at 21 is just a cop out.

I hope your joking. Moustakas runs circles around Lowrie. Now you can make the statement that Moustakas won't stick at short, but you can make the same case against Lowrie.

Not really, now I would put him top 5 pitchers. But it's hard to put him higher than Joba, Clay, Price, and Kershaw. Hell Jarrod Parker is said to have better stuff, Porcello just has better projection.

Moustakas is a high school draftee who has exactly 41 professional atbats. Lowrie is a million times more likely to stay at short, if only because he's in AAA and Moustakas is 3+ years away.
Elvis Andrus sucks. Brignac and Lowrie should be about the same here. Chin-Lung Hu? Carlos Triunfel. Go away, please.

Moustakas is certainly a nice player but in order to be a top player at a position out of HS, you need to be like a "once in a generation, in the majors at 20" type of guy. I'm not convinced that Moustakas is that kind of guy. Porcello is the best HS pitcher in the past decade and, as you pointed out, he's probably the 5th best SP in the minors right now. Lowrie hits got a good average, draws walks, hits for good power regardless of position (I could see him hitting 20 a year in the majors), and his defense has stepped up this past season. I don't know if I'd say he's the best SS prospect in baseball but it's close. mahalo
