I like the pick bigboy, I was between him and Alonso. In the end the K's scared me off, but he really has a chance to be a hell of a power hitter.

Personally I think Chach has had the best pick in this draft. But time will tell I suppose.

Why so many of you passed on a can't-miss prospect like Alvarez is beyond me. Miguel Cabrera has had far more postgame snacks than Alvarez and I'm happy to have him.

- Cabrera was already a major league regular (and budding star) by age 21 whereas Alvarez has yet to swing a bat in pro ball.

-Cabrera came up through the Marlins org as a shortstop, not a very good one, mind you, but he was limber enough to play it passable.

-Cabrera didn't start off his pro career with concerns about his conditioning and knees.

Other than that, yeah, exactly alike.

if Benny doesn't screw up my plan, my next pick will be the best pick in the draft. The 2008 draft had some pretty good players, as did the International signing period so there is a lot of high caliber talent still on the board. It looks like the rich get richer with Bovey having so many picks and an already loaded team. Boo-urns.

For anyone interested, I am in need of some corner IF help and another closer. Possibly a long term second base option but that's more a luxury with Kelly Johnson. Everyone on my team is available but here are the guys that I like so much that you are going to laugh when I send you what I consider equal value:

Troy Tulowitzki
