Wow, Bove and Setterlund can knock out the next 7 picks in less than five minutes now.

Because you have a hard-on for all things Rangers and I was hoping to catch you off guard in a wounded emotional state. I don't know about everyone else but that was my reasoning. mahalo

It's a play on the DVD pitching trio except using Rangers position prospects instead.

By the way bove, Ben Revere belongs to Kaz so you've got to re-pick.

Alcides Escobar, what are we playing in a league where defense counts.

I was thinking that myself, but it never hurts to draft a shortstop and a guy who will succeed in the end. You guys railed on my for picking Andrus, Triunfel, Jed Lowrie last year. Shortstops are a good investment.

All those guys suck too, so I don't see your point. Lowrie is a bad fantasy player, Andrus is like Alcides, and Triunfel won't be a SS. Ok, so for sure only Lowrie sucks, but you get the point. Hell I just checked the first page and Lowrie isn't even on your roster, so I'm guessing that means you admit it was a crappy pick. I'm curious what kind of fantasy line do you think Lowrie will put up at his peak?

Well I disagree with you on that one bigboy. I think Lowrie is going to be a fine shortstop. I dropped him on the last day of the season because I figured Teagarden was of more value, especially since I don't really have another SS. In his prime, I think Lowrie can be a guy who hits .300 with 15 HR, 100 R and above average RBI production for a SS. Something like 80 RBIs. I don't want to tip my hand for the future though.

And Andrus is going to be a star.

andrus may be a star but i dont think many think he'll really contribute this year, alot of people would be shocked if he breaks a .310 obp w/a 700 ops. he wont start being a good fantasy player until he's hitting .300 and stealing 50 bases a year

i'll take matt dominguez
