Well it appears sly isn't going to join the league. I haven't talked to him again but he hasn't responded to this post and he hasn't joined the league so I think the message is that he really is THAT strapped for time. I have midterms this week so it's kind of the calm before the storm but anyone who has suggestions on a new league member, please come forward.

Remember the kind of people we're looking for, I don't mean to discriminate but a mod or long time poster is preferable. After I finish midterms and we have a final league member, I'll add rosters, launch the league and we can talk about the drafts.

Hope all is well.

Ok, the rosters have been finalized. There were a couple issues with players not being in the Yahoo! system yet (i.e. Bartolo Colon w/ safan) and et cetera but for the most part everything went smooth.

You'll notice that your add/drops are locked. Don't be alarmed, that's just to allow the Free Agent Draft to take place. It should be over and relatively pain free in a couple days. I just thought it was unfair to eliminate the system suddenly that was going to give someone a Kosuke Fukodome or Huroki Kuroda.

The ROOK/FA Draft goes by waiver priority and so here is the order:

1. Chach - Kosuke Fukodome
2. Bleeding Green - Melky Cabrera
3. kg2005 - Troy Percival
4. bigboy - Gio Gonzalez
5. BBJ
6. sosafan
7. Setterlund
8. SportsWorld
9. SSK99
10. BennyBlanco
11. TyCobb
12. Bove310

Feel free to pick ASAP. Just look on the yahoo league page for the free agents. And a reminder to those picking: almost all of those top prospects you see in the free agent pool are in someone's minor league system already. If you can find one that's not, feel free, but it's not hard to check the old dynasty league thread for the prospect lists so please do so.
