Look on the bright side. By the time you pick maybe the Twins closer situation will be sorted out.

this draft has stagnated so much that the commish copied the draft order twice on the same page just to give others the impression there was some activity ;)

I think its time emails get sent out. Perhaps guys dont want to make any more picks, perhaps they dont know that this part of the draft is on?

We are just waiting on Benny, if I remember correctly he sent Sett a list of prospects to pick for him because he was busy for the draft but I don't think he did that with FAs.

Another troubling thing is, I have a few trade offers sitting out there on Yahoo that havent been replied to in almost a week.

welcome to the team lance berkman

kaz, i sent you a counter offer, id love to work out something for either matusz or bard

and people, if you're gonna offer something for price make a legit offer, if you want him so badly you'll likely have to overpay. stop offering me slightly above average over 30 talent. if i do give him up i want young top established talent. so no more jd drews or hunter pences of the world. ive turned down much better offers for him than that

I made Berkman available awhile ago, and sent out offers to almost every team involving him. I had a glut of 1B, he's 32 and is hurting already this spring. I'd rather have a younger middle infielder who is going to bat 300 and get a lot of runs and some steals - especially with Brian Roberts ailing.

The best you can do for an all-star is a bench player for the Angels?

Kendrick at 2nd, Aybar at SS, Wood at 3B. Izturis might start twice a week.

I wouldn't worry about that too much, after you've picked and before the draft is over and the add/drops are unlocked, there's not much reason to check on the league.

I think we're just going to skip Benny, he's not going to mind too much and he's obviously off on something. Carry on with the draft.

What's the over/under until Maicer is released?

Meanwhile I guarantee Berkman will be top 50 offensively this season and that is conservative.

Of course if this is me making this trade instead of stud, Sett would veto it. :D

I guess it's my pick then, I'll take Jon Rauch and drop Matt Diaz to make room.

With the conclusion of the drafts the add/drops have been unlocked and the league is now open for business. My only note is to remember to be mindful of other peoples' prospects. If you do pick up another person's player (Neftali Feliz for example) they will be dropped from your roster as soon as I notice and you'll be notified. Carry on, gents.
