I think Soler has a lot more fantasy upside. Almora might be more valuable to the Cubs though.

Ya, I was gonna take one or the other depending on who was picked before me. From what I've read, seems Almora might have a higher ceiling, but is a long way away since he's only 18.

Almora is highly ranked because of how polished he is as a prep player. His floor is really high for how young he is. But I think defense and makeup are his best attributes, don't really see huge power/speed numbers. Probably tops out at 20/20 in his prime.

Soler could be a monster in terms of power, so I'd prefer him for fantasy. Of course anything could happen with their development, but that's how I view them now as a Cubs fan.

or do we pick them if they going to declare to joining mlb?

also do they go as prospects?

I passed on both of them since the strength of my team is young outfielders. Stanton, Bruce, Justin Upton, Jennings.

Plus, I have Baez for my Cubs prospect fix, who I'd take over both Almora and Soler.
