OK, then I drop Dave Roberts to make room for Melky Cabrera.

Also I have 3 second baseman who all rank pretty high. If anyone needs a 2B, hit me up. I'm looking for a 3B mostly, but any offer is cool.

Orlando Hudson, Kelly Johnson, Brandon Phillips.

My prospects are (I believe): Cesar Carrillo, Joel Guzman. LOL.

In what way is he still a prospect? Just curious.

I don't even want A-Rod, he isn't clutch at all and sucks in the playoffs, I don't want that weighing my team down from it's 11th place potential.

Ok my apologies bigboy, you were right about this. I had "misremembered" that a prospect is someone with under 150 at-bats (Upton has 140).

Just for clarification to everyone, the definition of someone who is a prospect in our league is someone who still has Rookie of the Year eligibility. This means a player must have less than 130 at bats or less than 50 innings pitched. We won't follow the 45 days on the roster thing because I'm too lazy.

So, like we discussed, Chach will have two weeks (I think that's the time limit we agreed upon) at the beginning of the season to add Upton or get his add/drops locked. No big deal.

Yup thats me. I'm pondering it for sure. I like the guy you offered and I could use help at the position, but Zimmerman obviously has more upside. While I love your guy, he has peaked. I'd take your guy if you want Josh Fields and the rights to Adam Jones. What do you think?

Nah, I specifically want Zimmerman.

You look like you could use a backup 2B, though. Just in luck; I have three!

I'll drop Rick Ankiel and select Gio Gonzalez.

BBJ is up.

Sett could we just have unlimited minors, considering we can only get them through the draft which is 6 rounds(I think) each year, so it's not like someone is going to have a lot more than someone else. And it is a huge disadvantage to someone who drafts young prospects. Just a suggestion, that you better do or you forfeit the rights to Miguel Cabrera to me.

I like the idea, and it would stimulate trades between teams who like youth and teams who don't like the prospect system. I will send around a league e-mail asking if anyone is offended by the idea.

Hi

My name is Sosafan

Many of you might remember me from classic Dynasty Baseball sports threads such as the 2006 season and the 2007 season.

I've got a gajillion first basemans and outfielders.

Am looking for a 3rd baseman desperately. And a nice backup 2nd baseman.

I'm fine with expanding the minor league system but I think 10 is a bit much to keep up on.

Uh, no. Better be the same draft order like it was last year.

Benny, I sent out another league e-mail. I'm not proposing, expanding the minor league player pool. The draft will still be four rounds each year, and few, if any, teams will have 10 prospects. This proposal is merely to allow free movement of prospects and prospect picks in trades.

The main reason I did the trade was because for some reason he didn't have a catcher on his roster. Martin will fit in nicely on my team. Now I need a 1st baseman.

Anyone need a starter?
I have Halladay, Carmona, Lilly, Sheets, Smoltz, Lincecum, Wolf, and Doug Davis

I need a 1B.
