Keeper Info (10 possible in total):
At the end of each season, each manager will choose 4 positional players and 3 pitchers which he will keep for the next season. You may also choose an additional keeper at any position.
Rookie keepers: you may also keep 1 position player with no more than 2 years of MLB service, or less than 650ABs, and 1 pitcher with no more than 2 years of MLB service or less than 250 IP for a SP or 100IP for a RP. The rest will go into the free agent pool along with all rookies for the next season.

Lottery Information:
We will be using the website http://www.random.org/sform.html to generate the draft order. I will get someone who is not in the league to run it for us so there is no bias.
The lottery will be much like an NBA lottery, where the last place team will get the most “balls” and greater odds of getting the first pick, but no guarantee so as to prohibit tanking on purpose. There will be 6 non-playoff teams.
12th: 1-30
11th: 31-55
10th: 56-75
9th: 76-90
8th: 91-97
7th: 98-100


Lottery results will be posted Monday, February 7 by 8pm EST.

Offline Draft Rules:
Each manager will have 10 hours to make his/her selection.
If you do not make your pick within your 10 hour time limit, your pick is skipped and the draft will move along to the next manager, and the next and so on. When skipped, you can make your pick at any time when you check back in.
If you feel you will not be able to make your pick when your time is due to come up, please email a contingency list to myself, MGD or another manager who you trust to make the selection for you.
Once you make a pick, it is final. There is no changing your pick. You are not to edit the post that you make your pick in.
You may trade draft picks at any time after the lottery. You may also include players in your offline trades prior to the start of the season without experiencing the pending period you will experience during the season.
Once the draft begins, there will be a player moratorium, wherein you cannot mention ANY players’ name that has not yet been selected.

Add/Drop/Waivers:
There will be a 2 day waiver period for dropped players.

Disabled List:
Each team will be able to assign 2 players to the disabled list at a time. Players eligible will have a red DL beside their position, meaning they are out at least 15 days.

There will be a minimum of 15 rounds to fill out your roster again. Additional picks will be added on to the end of the draft in proper draft order if additional picks are needed to fill out your roster.
I will keep track of each manager’s keeper list and will post them as we approach the draft for the next season. All drafts will be offline.

The goal of keeper league’s is to make this multiple seasons, so please, only join if you want to be a serious part of this for years to come!
When posting that you want to be a manager in this league, please provide your e-mail address so that when the league is created on Yahoo I can send you an invitation – also for trade purposes.

I would really like to see Fielding % added to the categories this season. You can have a player that's a fantastic fielder and gets **** rating because he isn't the greatest hitter. I think it would add to the strategy and add some excitement.

I'm not a fan. If a guy is a **** hitter, why are you drafting him in the first place?

Its not necessarily that he is a crappy hitter. but there are guys out there like shorts stops etc that don't produce lots of runs, or stolen bases, but have a fantastic glove. or guys who are awesome hitter but get lots of errors.
