H2H 10 team cbs sportsline league. Never played fantasy baseball before. Finished the week with most points in the league. Fluke weak or is my team that solid? Is Ordonez worth keeping or should I look to add another pitcher? Cbs sportsline has him starting in 90% of leagues but I just don't see him as having that much value.

I'am in about 6 CBS leagues. 3 paid gold leagues. Out of the 6 teams, I lost twice last week. :D

You need another closer or two. I would drop Garland for a closer. Get Dan Wheeler quick. He was named closer today over Lidge. Which other closers are on your waiver wire? Your hitting is very good. Your starters are also pretty good. I sometimes like using 2-3 closers at the same time in CBS if I don't have many 2 start pitchers for the week.

yeah i'm in a gold league as well. Was thinking about wheeler as well. Do middle relievers merit consideration? Dave Bush and Kevin Millwood were recently dropped.

I never pick up middle relievers. They hardly pitch, but when they do they might only get a couple of points. Get closers only.

You should see what relievers you can pick up off the wire or make a deal for. Use Sanchez or Garland as bait. If you can improve significantly, look at maybe trading one of your better pitchers for a reliever since you seem to have a pretty good group of starters.

Cain or Lackey could net you a good closer, I would imagine and still leave you with 3 quality starters.

dropping Garland for Wheeler, and Magglio for Millwood. Gonna keep an eye on who ends up grabbing the florida closing job, and look for some trades.

Lee Gardner, Henry Owens or maybe Matt Lindstrom can end up with the closer job for the Fish.
