Ian Kinsler

What do I do with this guy? He's producing crazy numbers right now but I have him behind Utley at 2B and Hafner at UTIL. I can't bring myself to play Kinsler over Utley even though Utley is struggling.

Trade Kinsler while value is high? Trade Utley? I don't feel as if trading Utley is an option but I wanna believe Kinsler is going to continue to produce and would be a worthwhile player to keep.

I would trade Kinsler while his value is high. Utley will start to hit sooner or later and produce his usual numbers. Not really sure how long Kinsler can keep up his HR pace.....so trade him for a weaker position on your team.

Kinsler turned out to be a big time steal in the later rounds.

Utley started slow last year as well so I'm fairly sure I'm not about to trade him. I'm sure he'll turn it around and Kinsler is definitely not going to keep up his current pace. I still think he's got potential for 25+ this year but what's he at now? 5 HR already? Crazy pace.

I would like to improve in my outfield, I'm thinking I can flip Kinsler for one. Thanks for the advice.

Kinsler will hit 30 home runs this year

I would dangle both and see which will get you the best deal for your club.

Safe bet is to trade Kinsler while he is hot and his value is high.

Its not like this should be a suprise to anyone, he hit 14 home runs in his rookie season in about 120 games. If you have Roberts or Cano as your starting 2b, Id think about trading them and just slotting Kinsler in that spot because he'll come close to giving you similar production(Minus the steals Roberts gives you).

I have Kinsler on my team as well. I picked him up! I can't believe nobody took him and I knew he would do good.

His swing is fundamentally sound and he has a great eye (hardly ever chases bad pitches).

If Washington puts him in the 2 spot, he'll be a force

Another HR tonight.

Nothing against Utley, but I'd say it would be a pretty good idea to make room for Kinsler in your lineup at least for the short term.

This would all be so much easier if I could use Hafner as a positional player. He needs to earn some games somewhere.

Hafner played FOUR games at first base last year...the Yahoo requirement to have a player earn positional status is FIVE games at a position.

Someone should tell their coach so that he doesnt hinder so many fantasy managers.

On the bright side, Kinsler is making a quick progression to becoming one of my top 2 favourite 2B in the league right now.

Teehee. I traded for him straight up in a keeper league for Julio Lugo.
