Well this guy in my H2H league just offered me Zito for Craig Monroe and Paul Lo Duca.
I really like Monroe though he isn't hitting a high % so far. But Zito, the player I'm receiving, has been struggling the whole year.
Should i take a chance on Zito?

Do you have another catcher? Or who is available on the wire?

Yes my catcher is Mauer and Paul Lo Duca is on my bench at the moment.
But in my other league Zito is on waivers. Is he worth while to pick up?

I would do the trade because Lo Duca is on your bench and Monroe is struggling right now, which could lead to less playing time. Also, Zito is a high risk/high reward player right now and since you aren't giving up much, it seems like a good deal to me.

Zito is a good trade. He's still got a little Oakland in him and will really turn it around in the second half like he has done in previous seasons.

I just dropped him for Jeff Francis in one of my teams, I was sick of him recently.
With Mauer on your team, I think you could do the trade though.
Monroe is good, but there's plenty of OF available. (Well in Yahoo! leagues...)

Zito has a history of being a very good second half pitcher, so I'd take a chance on him in that deal. Last year he did not stick to that tho. But for his career he has a 3.26 ERA after the all-star break.

I GOT
Chone Figgins (LAA - 2B,3B,OF)
Barry Zito (SF - SP)
FOR
Nick Markakis (Bal - OF)
Tim Hudson (Atl - SP)
Hopefully this pays off.
