Every year I do two "practice" drafts in yahoo public leagues on a yahoo sn that I don't care about. This is the first of those drafts.
What do you think?
C - Russel Martin
1B - Albert Pujols
2B - Howie Kendrick
3B - Edwin Encarnacion
SS - Khalil Greene
OF - Lance Berkman
OF - Raul Ibanez
OF - Corey Hart
UTIL - David Ortiz
BN - Jeremy Hermida
BN - Rocco Baldelli
SP - Cole Hamels
SP - Aaron Harang
RP - Rafael Soriano
RP - Todd Jones
P - Felix Hernandez
P - Matt Cain
P - Ian Snell
BN - Curt Schilling
BN - Hideki Okajima
BN - Andrew Miller
I picked 7th, and this is a 12 team, standard cat h2h league.

Eh, not my ideal draft but you do have some value.
I'd probably drop Baldelli and look to upgrade your infield depth. Other than that, I don't know how much value Oki will have in your league.

I took Baldelli in the last round and Oki in the second to last.
I was thinking of packaging some guys for either a top flight middle infielder or closer.

Yeah looking back on it now, I really don't like this team.
Oh well, thats why I do this.

Starting pitching is pretty outstanding though.

I'd think about swapping out Oki with Kerry Wood.
Wood seems to have the inside track on the Cubs' closer spot.

I'd drop Baldelli for either Kotchman, Drew, Castillo, Votto, or Alou...in that order.

None of those guys help with MI depth.
I can't pickup another 1B, I'd have no where to put him.

Baldelli is an ass hole.. I draft this douche every year hoping for good things and he does nothing, but goes on a hot streak and gets me blue balled for a few weeks, followed by an immediate stint on the DL with a bruised vagina.

I usually avoid him, and now it seems that I really need to add some depth elsewhere, but I can't find anyone worthy of dropping him for.

Castillo might be your best bet then.
Is Longoria still out there? Julio Lugo?

Only Castillo, but hell that makes me want to just hold on to Baldelli.
