Pena and Cano is too weak a package, don't go with that. I think you should stay away from guys like Pena who surprised last year, because you've already got a couple risks on your roster. I would offer Papi and Gordon for A-Rod. In an 8-team league the smartest strategy is to go for the high quality players because there will always be depth. If he really wants Ortiz, he'll bite.

I already tried asking for A-Rod, he won't move him though.

It was a live draft but I missed the draft, half the league missed it too though.

If he's not willing to give up A-Rod in a deal for Ortiz, then he obviously doesn't want Ortiz that much. I think he's just trying to manipulate you, don't go for it.
