I have solid pitching outside of Sabathia in a 6x6 12 team head to head league. I am hurting for offense especially big bats in the infield. I have Troy Glaus at 3rd and Kotchman backing up Lee at 1st.

I want to pull the trigger on this but concerned that CC's best is in front of him. At the same he has been a dog all year with nothing but trade rumors in front of him and have a shot at a top 50 caliber 3rd basemen.

Thoughts?

I would do that deal in a second if you are alright at pitching otherwise. Take it and don't look back. That would be a big upgrade for you at 3B.
