Ladies and gentleman, I'd like to notify you that I now officially have the most badass pitching staff in the league. Justin Verlander, Roy Halladay, Yovani Gallardo, Adam Wainwright, Tommy Hanson, that's five aces, four of them pretty young. Chris Carpenter, Cliff Lee, AJ Burnett, Gavin Floyd, and my worst pitcher, Brett Anderson is a 21-year old that just threw a two-hitter against the Red Sox. Now with Hoffman to add to Papelbon I have plenty of saves. Chris Tillman and Wade Davis are waiting in the wings dominating in Triple-A. My pitching rebuilding process is complete. Stand in awe people.

You still want to trade pitching staffs? I still like mine but that's pretty tight right there. I'll have Lester, Porcello, Kershaw, and Feliz in three years, which will be pretty badass. And then who knows who else develops but that's just disgusting.

Screw you Texas for putting Holland into the rotation and screwing up my plan of milking his BP innings before adding him. Alright, I need to do some roster bouncing. Check your PMs sunshine. mahalo

Hanson is not an ace, at least yet. Kid has been extremely lucky in the bigs so far.

Then again you didn't count Carpenter as an ace which he is.

Wade Davis is dominating AAA?

Plus I still have the best pitcher in the league, so ha!

And I'm pretty sure BBJ isn't picking up McCutchen

Hey just reminding Chach and BBJ to check the prospects on page 42. You both have a couple of guys to pick up.

Yup, I'd notified them and they didn't respond so they're being locked until they request to pick up the player. BBJ might not care because it's his final year but I think Chach will make the move soon. I think we'll have to discuss the upcoming situations with guys like Chapman but my tendency is to say that he'll be considered a prospect, if only because the prospect draft is usually earlier and we'll have to see if Chapman will be in the minors or be an MLB player right away. We'll talk about it when the time comes a little closer though and his situation becomes a little bit clearer.

I've been away for the weekend. I meant to add him before I left and forgot. Would you drop McGee for Holland Sett?

Also, anyone in need of closer feel free to offer me something. I'm taking too many 4-6 weeks to really make a push for the final playoff spot. **** injuries. mahalo

I'm assuming you meant McGehee. You need to drop someone else too buddy because Alex Gordon is on your DL and he's healthy again.

I'm going to try to get into contact with BBJ but I wanted to ask people what they'd think of someone finishing out the season with his team on a tryout basis so that his prospects get picked up, the best team is on the field and etc. Of course, I could also do it myself but there might be a conflict of interest there. I just think it's kind of a waste to have a team completely inactive and he's already announced that this is his last season. What do you guys think? I'll send out a league-wide message on this when time permits. Friday night though, gotta go.

Just cut Navarro and add Beckham and McCutchen, while DL'ing Zimmermann and Johnson.

Then make Aramis, Beckam, McCutchen, Ortiz starters and bench Orlando, Young, Drew, Bradley. Then all his pitchers who aren't on the DL should be starters.

Also, while at it, put Ibanez and Manny as starters and put LaRoche and Cameron on the bench for sosafan

Looks like a good trade for both of you guys. I personally don't know who I'd rather get my hands on between Bruce and Rasmus. I graduated BBJ's prospects and made a small roster adjustment to try to put pretty much his best team on the field, although I did that before adding McCutchen and Beckham. I don't know how comfortable I feel about making other add/drops myself though although I agree that Coghlan makes sense Ty.

Just to get the **** storm out of the way, Kaz told his older brother, one of my best friends since junior high, above the upcoming vacancy and he's interested in joining (he originally wanted to be co-managers with Kaz at the start of the season but I think he got the veto from his bro, haha). I think that he would probably be a good addition to the league and as active a manager as Kaz and Mauve have been, but I understand the concerns of some of the managers that adding more people I know makes it less and less of a RealGM league like it was at the start. I know that he has the baseball knowledge to pull a similar last-to-playoffs turnaround that the new guys have done. Let me know how you guys would feel about that. I told him I'd bring it up and see what people think and given the success of the new guys this year I think I'd prefer this to chancing another SportsWorld fiasco.

Well Cobb also got a 2nd rounder, which I don't really need, since I have another 2nd rounder and three 1st rounders (I'm willing to trade them all so if anyone wants to make a blockbuster deal before the deadline). I like Bruce more than Colby for fantasy, in real life Colby is probably better though. Cobb probably won the trade, but as he knew I really like Bruce, so I was willing to give up Rasmus and Kazmir, who hopefully never returns to elite strikeout pitcher or he will haunt me.

I'm not sure why you released Lewis from BBJ's team, he should have an extra roster spot. Or why you didn't optimize his roster by at least putting Beckham in for Cabrera. Then the same with sosafan who hasn't touched the league in over a month with Manny and Ibanez.

By the way, I have no problem with kaz's brother joining the league as kaz has been one of the most active managers in the league. But you might have to find another person to replace sosafan too, so not sure if you want to have a 2 team draft combining those two rosters like you did previous to this season, of the two new managers just get those respective teams.

If you decide to go away from realgm to fill a team, you can replace myself as well.

I don't see what the problem is, none of the members of this league actively post here anyways.

SSK brings up a good point. I don't want drama, but this was originally an elite RealGM MLB Diamond league. Now it's like a few of us and then Sett's friends. Not trying to be insulting to them, but it would be awesome if the majority was RealGM'ers. We just need active people.
